Ha Hoang Tran has served at First Baptist by ministering to the Vietnamese Congregation since 2001. His goal is to spread the gospel to the Vietnamese here in Amarillo and to the ones that he encounters in Asia. He also preaches, teaches, and does pastoral care towards the Vietnamese Congregation in an effort to help them mature in faith. He is married to Suu Tran and has a daughter named Amy Thien-Ai Tran.
