Volunteering is not just about helping others. What you'll find out when you volunteer is that serving others is also the best way to grow in your relationship with God.
Volunteer A/V Help Needed
We are enlisting several older youth and adults to help with our church's communication ministry. Various church activities require the use of sound and/or video equipment, and we are looking for people who can help with the set-up and use of our equipment. Training will be provided. If you are willing to help, please contact Robby Barrett.
Children's Ministry

Men's Prison Ministry:
First Baptist Church has a weekly presence in both TDCJ prison units in Amarillo. Those units house approximately 5,000 men and they represent a significant mission opportunity for the church; currently there is a great need for new volunteers in this area of our church ministry.
Visit the Prison Ministry page for details, or for more information regarding this area of the church's ministry, please contact Tom Foran at (806) 373-2891, x252.
Sunday Valet Parking:
We need several adults (18 years old and up) who are willing to help with valet parking on Sunday mornings. Schedules can be on a rotating or regular basis and are flexible enough to allow for worship and Bible Study attendance! If you can help, please email or call Robby Barrett, 373-2891.
