WE LEFT EARLIER THAN EXPECTED...NEW ARRIVAL TIME IS 2 - 2:15

We are getting everything packed up and ready to head back to Amarillo. We are full of great stories from a great time with old friends and new ones. Last night at our church time we discussed all your kids learned this week. I was amazed to hear all that God has taught them in the past three days. This morning we have Bible Study, worship, lunch then we are headed home We are still planning on arriving at the church by 2:30. Check back here after lunch to get a better idea of exact time. We have had a great start to day 3 of camp. We have been talking the last two days about how God can work in us and change us from the imside out.  We have focused on how God can shape our minds.  Today we are talking about how we need to live our lives on the outside so that others know that we love God.  This morning in church group devotional I talked about how we always talk about bad things in our life and we hear the saying "garbage in and garbage out" .  The opposite is also true, "God stuff in and God stuff out".  Today your kids will be learning a little more about what that means. It has been a hot day at camp but everyone is still having a great time. We have some stinky cabins and kids, but we promise to have everything clean before we head home.  

Today we started with worship and then went to Bible Study and Missions.  We were able to hear about our missions focus which is on an organization called Sweet Sleep.  They go into other countries such as Uganda, Moldova, and India and provide orphans with new beds.  All of our missions offering this week goes to purchasing mosquito nets that will go over some of beds in countries where malaria is a problem.  [more]
