Good morning! Today, children learned that "I Can Obey God." As a family, talk together about times when you obeyed God and times when you disobeyed God. What did you learn from those decisions? Read Joshua 1:9 together and spend time praying as a family asking God to give you the courage to obey Him, even when it is difficult! [more]

There has been lots of action on the Children's floor this week! By the time you get to church on Sunday, all carpet will be removed from the classrooms and hallways. They are still continuing to paint the hallways on the 3rd floor and the classrooms on the 4th floor. We're getting closer every day and are so excited for the changes that are happening!  [more]

Good morning! Today in Sunday School, children learned that "I Can Respond To What Happens To Me In Ways That Please God." It can be so frustrating when things don't go our way! How do you react when another driver cuts you off on the highway? When your server at a restaurant seems less than competent? When a coworker gets credit for a project you were in charge of? This week, talk with your family about the story of Daniel and how he reacted to what was happening to him. Make sure that your reactions to frustrating situations bring honor to God this week! The remodel of our Children's Ministry continues.  We have begun painting the 3rd floor hallways as well as prepping the 4th floor to be painted soon.  We will begin taking up the carpet on the 4th floor next week.  Here is a sneak peek of the chairs that will be in our classrooms.  Don't they look great!!  Keep checking back to see all the progress that is being made. This morning in Sunday School, children learned that "I Can Recognize God's Activity In People's Lives." How can you see God working in the lives of your family members? Spend time this week encouraging each person in your family by sharing specific ways that you can see how God is active in his/her life.  [more]

Things are moving quickly! Most of the 3rd floor rooms are almost completely painted! The bright greens, oranges, and blues have already brightened up the Children's Ministry area--and there's lots more to come! We're so excited! The Children's Ministry remodel has finally begun.  I cannot wait to see the finished product!  Many hours of planning have been done to ensure that we have a top notch Children's Ministry Space.  I hope you will join the Properties Committee, and our Children's Ministry team in our excitement--great things are in store for our Children's Ministry!
