Today in Sunday School, children learned that "I Can Grow And Mature In Ways Jesus Did." This week, read Luke 2:52 as a family. Talk together about what it means to mature in your faith. Things like praying, having a quiet time, and telling others about Jesus help us mature! This week, hold each other accountable to growing in Christ, and make a commitment to pray as a family every day! [more]

We now have carpet in all hallways and classrooms of our Children's Ministry space.  There are a few more baseboards to get down and we will be finished with the flooring part of the project.  We also received all of our freshly painted doors this week for our cabinets on the 3rd floor.  They sure do look great! Our preteens had a great time last weekend at our Preteen Retreat.  We started things off by serving at the High Plains Food Bank before we headed out the High Plains Retreat Center.  At the Retreat Center we had a great time doing the Giant 2 Person Swing, playing games, eating lots of food, and having some great times of worship.  Our theme this year was "Connect".  We talked about the importance of connecting with God, with other Believers, and with the world.  This is such an important event in our Preteen Ministry.  [more]

We serve a God big enough to be in the past, present, and future! This week, talk with your family about why the promise of Jesus' return is so important; how should the promise of His return affect the way we live today? Pray together asking God to give each family member the boldness to share the hope of Jesus with others this week. [more]

This morning in Sunday School, children learned that "I Can Confess That Jesus Is Alive." When was the last time you told someone about Jesus? Have you ever told someone about Jesus? Read Philippians 2:10-11 together as a family. It's up to us to share with the world (and with the people right next to us) the hope and salvation Christ offers. It is so exciting to see the changes that are happening every day in the children's ministry.  Our construction crew is working hard along with our cleaning crew to make sure not only we are making progress but also that your child has a place to learn each and every week.  You can see from the pictures that we have a few new walls going in that will eventually be covered in metal and give our children's ministry space a unique look.  They have also finished painting in Cliff and Sarah's office and they look great.  Be sure to check out all the changes on Sunday!
