Good morning! Today's Big Picture Question is, "What is a missionary?" A missionary is someone who obeys God's call to go and tell others the good news about Jesus. Talk as a family about places you could tell someone about Jesus. Going on mission trips is just one way we can be missionaries---as Christians, we are called to be ready to share His hope with anyone, any time! Pray together for missionaries living away from their families in other cities and countries; pray that your family would allow God to use you to spread the hope of His salvation....
Good morning! Today's Big Picture Question is, "How did Jesus change Saul's life?" Jesus saved Saul from his sins. As a family, read Acts 8:1-3 and Acts 9:1-31. How did Saul's life change after his encounter with God? How could he have reacted differently? When we encounter God, we will never be the same! How has God changed you? How was your life different before and after knowing Jesus? Pray together as a family, asking God to let His light shine through you this week.
Good morning! Today's Big Picture Question is, "Why was Stephen not afraid to die?" Stephen saw Jesus waiting for him in heaven. While we all may not be killed for our faith, we will all face difficult times in following Jesus. As a family, talk about some times when it might be hard to follow or stand up for Jesus. Following Christ means that we don't have to be scared of persecution, rejection, or even death. For Christians, death and hard times don't have to be scary because we have hope and confidence knowing that we will spend eternity with God in heaven. Pray together as a family, asking God to give you the courage to follow Him no matter what....

Good morning! Today's Big Picture Question is, "By whose power did Peter heal the man who was lame?" Peter healed the man by the power of Jesus. When was a time God helped you do something you didn't think was possible? As a family, talk about other characters in the Bible who had big problems and hardships. How did God help them? We serve a God who is bigger than anything we're facing today. Pray together, asking God to help you trust Him to protect and care for you this week, no matter what you're facing.

Good morning! Today's Big Picture Question is, "How does the Holy Spirit help believers?" The Holy Spirit gives us power to do God's work. Jesus prepared His disciples for a life of ministry, and He sent the Holy Spirit to be with us until He returns. Sometimes the idea of sharing our faith can be scary! Just as Moses didn't have to be afraid of stuttering or stumbling over his words because He knew God would help him, we can trust the Holy Spirit to give us the exact words to say right when we need them. Read Acts 1:8 together. How does this verse say the Holy Spirit will help us? Pray as a family, thanking God for sending the Holy Spirit to live in our hearts.
