We serve a God big enough to be in the past, present, and future! This week, talk with your family about why the promise of Jesus' return is so important; how should the promise of His return affect the way we live today? Pray together asking God to give each family member the boldness to share the hope of Jesus with others this week. [more]

Read Philippians 2:10-11 together as a family. It's up to us to share with the world (and with the people right next to us) the hope and salvation Christ offers. How do you react when another driver cuts you off on the highway? When your server at a restaurant seems less than competent? When a coworker gets credit for a project you were in charge of? This week, talk with your family about the story of Daniel and how he reacted to what was happening to him. Make sure that your reactions to frustrating situations bring honor to God this week! This morning in Sunday School, children learned that "I Can Recognize God's Activity In People's Lives." How can you see God working in the lives of your family members? Spend time this week encouraging each person in your family by sharing specific ways that you can see how God is active in his/her life.  [more]

Things are moving quickly! Most of the 3rd floor rooms are almost completely painted! The bright greens, oranges, and blues have already brightened up the Children's Ministry area--and there's lots more to come! We're so excited!
