Our last full day in Brazil
We had a great last full day in Brazil. Our friend from the hotel was not able to join us on our sight-seeing trip, so we are trusting that our Brazilian friends will be able to share Christ with him soon. [more]
Wednesday
Pretty much an unbelievable day in Brasil. School presentations led to several students accepting Christ! We have planted, watered, and seen lots of harvest! Everyone on our team is pouring themselves into the work here. As one of our translators, Rebecca, says, "there's a party in heaven!" [more]
Tuesday Evening
What a day!!! We made three presentations at the school at Itaipuacu for around 400 students. From Proud Mary to Here I am to Worship, we sang our hearts out. The kids responded so very well to our music, testimonies, and skit. We got to plant seeds , water seeds, and even enjoy the harvest. We had students accept Christ in both the morning and afternoon sessions! Tonight we arrived back at the hotel hungry, tired, and emotionally exhausted. One of our best days in Brasil ever!!! Monday Evening
What a great day in Brazil! The school we planned to visit was closed due to a teacher strike. One of our translators invited us to a day care center where she worked. After only a couple of minutes at the day care we realized it was a divine appointment for our group. We played, sang, and prayed for the children and workers. It is amazing how quickly we connected to the kids and their leaders. Many of these children have been abandoned by at least one parent, or have been victims of neglect or abuse. What a ministry opportunity! An unexpected blessing! [more]
Sunday Evening
We had a wonderful service at Salt and Light last evening!!! Each one of our team members used their spiritual gifts, and together we preached, sang, shared testimonies, did crafts and Bible stories with preschoolers, children, and youth. We have been blessed to see people receive Christ everywhere we have been! [more]
