After Hurricane Katrina in 2005, we realized that our church had everything it needed to create, equip, and send a Disaster Relief team through Texas Baptist Men. So, in the two years after Katrina, the church researched and invested into a premier, 32-foot shower and laundry unit. As of 2010, it is the only shower unit in Texas that is certified for handicapped use and it has been deployed to several states already.
