Recreation Ministries is an enormous part of our mission to the congregation. The Family Life Center was established in 1980 as a ministry that coordinates with the other ministries of First Baptist Church to enhance their effectiveness, and since then has continually strived to effectively provide a place that enables members to strengthen the total person through the development of Faith, Family, Fellowship, Fitness and Fun. Along with coordinated efforts with other ministries at First Baptist, the FLC provides recreational fellowship through Upward Sports, summer camps, fitness classes, and other various activities. The Family Life Center, hopes to stay true to its name, and provide a place that is fit for families to come and build relationships with Christ, each other and other families.
