APRIL 14 @ 6:00 p.m. - Moving with the Spirit- a Sr. Adult Musical in the sanctuary.

The Heritage Choir at First Baptist Church will present Moving with the Spirit Sunday night, April 14 during the 6:00pm service. Through traditional hymns, gospel songs, and drama, Moving with the Spirit tells of one couple's attempt to be led by the Spirit of God during some major changes in their lives.

APRIL 21 @ 6:00 p.m. Rock Solid - Young Musicians Choir (4th-6th grade) will present Rock Solid, God's Promises for the Trail of Life. Our kids have worked hard and fast on this presentation. Looking forward to a fun time that night.

APRIL 18 @ 7:00 p.m. - Panhandle Singing Men of TX - in concert at First Baptist Church in the First Baptist sanctuary. Come and hear great music and wonderful testimony about past and future mission endeavors to the country of Ukraine.

FBC Music Ministry

Music is a very important part of our worship at First Baptist. Psalm 100 describes joyful singing and shouts, entering the worship of God with thanksgiving and praise. All of the music activities at First Baptist in some way prepare us for the worship of our Almighty God. Our intent is for adults, students, and children to lead worship both in the church and beyond.

The Music Ministry provides a continuing program of activities and worship opportunities for choirs and instrumental ensembles of all ages. From the 100+ voices in the sanctuary choir to the music offered for preschoolers, the music ministry is active and growing. Youth, Children, and Adults alike lead in worship services and serve in missions throughout the year.

Membership is open in all groups. The weekly rehearsals serve not only as practice sessions, but also as times of worship and encouragement. Each person is encouraged and taught to honor God by using their individual gifts.
