This is a place for college-age people to come and be a part of the wonderful family that is First Baptist Church of Amarillo. This is a time where you will make some of the most important decisions in your life, most importantly the decision of how you are going to live your life for Christ. The way much of your life will end up hinges on the decisions you make now. We want to be a place that helps you determine who Christ is and what decisions he wants you to make. Our desire is that our lives glorify God and every decision we make points others to Christ! Please come and find your place as we discover where God is leading us together. The First Baptist Church of Amarillo College department is a fun, welcoming, and uplifting ministry that ranges from freshman in college to young professionals around 18-25 years of age. We are currently experiencing great growth and depth in our college ministry and would love for you to come visit and see if this is a place for you. We have a team of very dedicated and motivated volunteer adults who lead the college ministry on a weekly basis.
The heart of the college ministry is for students to truly define themselves with Christ and establish the spiritual foundation that they are going to stand on for the rest of their lives. This time in a student's life is where they will make most of the biggest decisions in life and this church is dedicated to helping students make great decisions. You will find a great teaching, fun new friends, impactful spiritual events, and a lot of fun activities.
Weekly Schedule:
Sundays: Worship services at 8:30 a.m., 11:00 a.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Sunday Morning Bible Study at 9:45 a.m. in room 415
Wednesday Bible study and fellowship 7:45 p.m. in the Grande Room at the FLC
